What is your current obsession? Book hunting...I guess it's always been an obsession, but its worse that I now have 70 unplanned days ahead of me!

What do you think your name says about you? It's agreeable...the only name my parents didn't argue over!

Who was the last person you hugged? Grayson and Derrick...family hugs!
What’s your favorite dinner? Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, and Green leafy salad with feta chesse, sliced almonds, cranberries, and basalmic vinegar dressing....the salad is my favorite, can you tell?

What was the last thing you bought? A new book....hence question #1.

What are you listening to right now? Duke chewing on his tail....

What is your favorite weather? I'm high seventies kinda gal....I love early fall or late spring weather.

What is your least favorite season? Winter....

What did you want to become as a child? I wanted to be an ACTRESS.....no joke!

What do you miss? sleeping in.....haha.

What's your favorite brand of jeans? Lucky,,,they fit nicely over my curves.

What designer piece of clothing would you most like to own (new or vintage)? Both are expensive....so, whichever looks and feels best at that moment.

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go? New York..I'm itching to go.

Who do you want to meet in person? Derrick's father. I have a lot of questions, but it is probably best that we don't meet, my questions aren't very kind.

What is your most challenging goal right now? Embracing my future (don't ask!).

What’s your 5 year plan? Growing with my family, having another baby, getting my masters.

Why is today special? I spent it with my two favorite boys, my parents, and my sister.

What is my favorite sport to watch? Ummm...seriously I'm not a sports watcher, but if I'm forced or asked I prefer to watch NBA basketball (Go Kings!).

To play? Soccer or Softball.

What is your favorite piece of jewelry that you own? My wedding band/engagement ring (the only jewlery I wear).

Summer Lovin...

I am so excited that school is out! I had a wonderful first year of teaching, but I am TIRED! I needed a break and time to spend with my baby! Grayson is changing before my eyes and sometimes I feel like I'm missing out! So, this summer I hope to cuddle with Grayson and Derrick, watch movies late into the night, read a few new series, watch/take Gray to swimming lessons, workout (ouch!), tan in my backyard, work in the year (landscape, anyone?), travel to Sacramento, hang out with friends, drink SAngria, watch Grayson and Duke play tug o' war, spend time with the family, have BBQ's, and RELAX! My plan is to have a nice...restful...relaxing....fun-filled summer.....with friends and family! What could be better than that?

Okay! So, here I am again trying to do this whole blogging thing! I have figured out how to follow people and now I just need to jazz up my page! I have secretly been following Adrienne, Laura, and Bekah's blog for some time now! I love to hear what Age has to say! She is very feisty and has a love for blogging that is the UP MOST inspiring. I love to look at Laura's page first and foremost because of her pictures. I am trying to come up with a reason or excuse to get her to photograph my family! She is very talented! I adore following Bekah's page because it feeds my need to have more babies appetite. Who knew that you could live a dream through a friend! Haha. She is amazing. All three ladies are new or old friends and I guess I am out of the blogging closet! Yes... I have been reading your blogs and now it is about time I start my own! Hopefully I can get this thing set up and stop complaining about it on FACEBOOK!

Wow! After seeing a few of my friends blogs, I thought I would jump on the bandwagon. This is my first official blog, and I am a little embarrased to say that I am nervous! Hehe :). Who would have thunk that, eh? Well.... let me introduce myself! My name is Amanda and I am a MESS of things, but most importantly a wife and a mommy! I have two boys, one is twenty-six and the other is almost three! They are both a handful, but without them my life would be such a bore! I am a new teacher in charge of 21 third graders! Yes, I know... who in the HECK would CHARGE me with a class of impressionable 8-9 year olds? Hmmm, the big guy upstairs must think I am doing something right :). Aside from teaching, I LOVE being with my family! I am NOT that great of a FRIEND (I'm saving that story for another blog) but I am a GREAT sister, daughter, wife, and mother. Okay, so this is all I'm writing for my INTRO blog, but I can say (or write?) that I will be writing more. I have a ton of things I have been needing to spill and I guess if your interested you will read! Bye Bye for now....manders.
